Fostering a Democratic Culture among Participants in the Educational Process

This article is dedicated to the issue of fostering a democratic culture among participants in the educational process. The author provides the conceptual fundamentals of fostering a democratic culture in a person, examines the system of pedagogical means facilitating the effective organization of the process of fostering a democratic culture, the leading role among which is played by the methodology of collective creative activity and the fostering of self-management. The author looks into ways of organizing effective interaction between all participants in the educational process. The article also analyzes the potential of the educational process in terms of fostering the major components of democratic culture in students and instructors through the use of the content of academic subjects and the development of the system of relations between instructors and students.

The author highlights the positive aspects of some methods of diagnosing anddiscusses the need for combining tasks in the practical work: testing, integrative tasks and tasks of competency-based. The author argues that testing helps to master the theoretical foundations of computer science, practical exercise promotes the development of skills of used information technology, the creative task stimulates intellectual activity and an unconventional approach to solving. The author gives an example of the practical work for the study of spreadsheets. In practical work demonstrates the testing and use of various types of tests in more detail. This paper investigates the problem of forming the professional and personal experience of the future music teacher as the basis for improving its professional excellence. The aim of the study was the theoretical justification and experimental verification of the contents of the experience gained and pedagogical technology of development of the professional excellence of the future music teacher. The scientific research proved that the essence of the professional excellence of music teachers should be considered as a complex of musical and pedagogical personality traits formed in the process of training, that it is creative and focuses on the social and cultural active end result, i.e. the established high-level commitment to musical and pedagogical activities. The findings of this study indicate that one of the key tasks in training of a music teacher is to develop its professional and personal experience as a prerequisite for improving the professional excellence, professional stability, targeting a wide arsenal of innovative movements, scientific research and high-quality arrangement of the educational and upbringing process.
